The GF Canteen Retires

img_4554

Greetings from Portland, Oregon. To everything there is a season and the Canteen season is about to sunset.

No need for all ten of you to panic (jk). It’s been a fun run, but so many things have changed in my life, in the world, that I think it’s probably best to shutter this blog. There are some fabulous gluten-free blogs and resources out there in the interwebz and on the book shelf.  I am confident that anyone wanting to bake great gluten-free goodies will easily find terrific recipes and assistance.

The Canteen blog will be up and available through the end of 2016 so feel free to print out whatever you like from the recipes or other sections.

I’m glad to have had to the opportunity to interact (virtually) with lots of you and to share these recipes.

If you want to stay in touch, find me on Twitter @GFCanteen.

Be all the good you can be because lord knows we are gonna need that in the world that is coming.

Thank you for following the blog, for baking these recipes, and generally being all around nice folks. Means the world to me, to Tim, and I’ll remember you all fondly.

Lisa

  1. What sad news, but I certainly understand. I will miss all your beautiful baked goods!

  2. Thank you for all the work you have put into your wonderful recipes and beautiful photos.

  3. Oh my goodness! I support your decision, but am now going to have to find time to download all my favorite recipes of yours! When I was first diagnosed with Celiac five years ago, YOUR recipes (and lovely pictures) were the ones that showed me that beautiful and tasty baked goods were still part of my future. Having you considered reaching out to Authentic Foods to be a featured recipe artist?
